The Bunkhouse is located on a working ranch surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest. You’ll enjoy a peaceful mountain setting where you may hear roosters crowing, livestock, wildlife, and the sounds of nature throughout the day and night. • Please drive slowly on ranch roads and be aware of people, animals, and ranch equipment. • The Bunkhouse is intended to be a quiet retreat. Please respect quiet hours and neighboring guests. • Wildlife is common, including deer, rabbits, quail, hawks, coyotes, and other native animals. Never feed wildlife or leave food outside. • Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier, but Wi-Fi is available. • The ranch sits at mountain elevation, so evenings can be cool even during the summer. Winter weather may include snow or icy conditions. • Dark skies are one of the ranch’s greatest features. Bring a flashlight for walking after sunset and enjoy incredible stargazing. • Fires are permitted only in designated fire features and only when local fire restrictions allow. • Please help us keep the ranch beautiful by packing out what you bring in and leaving the space as you found it. • Shopping, restaurants, and fuel are available in nearby Frazier Park and Pine Mountain Club, just a short scenic drive away. • The Bunkhouse is the perfect base for hiking, scenic drives, birdwatching, photography, off-road adventures (on approved trails), and simply relaxing in the fresh mountain air.
